Where your donations goes

The money that you so generously donate in the SMA Birthday Program is used to help cover the expenses involved in preparing a new generation of SMA missionary priests. You might not be able to "go out to the whole world and make disciples of all nations" as Jesus told us to do (Mt.28:19), but by your donations you are able to make it possible for those who can.

We are happy to report that today (2016) we have almost 340 young men at different stages of the formation program within the SMA – giving us great hope for the future of our mission in Africa. There are currently 13 SMA formation houses in Africa, India, Philippines and Poland for this purpose.

The average cost to educate an SMA seminarian for one year is $4,000 (a fraction of what it costs in USA or Europe) – but 300 times $5,000 is a lot of money we have to find every year. Your donation is important to us and we thank you.
